NorCom Information Technology AG and AVL List GmbH sign a partnership agreement

NorCom Information Technology AG today signed a joint partner agreement with its strategic and technical partner AVL List GmbH. The goals of the strategic cooperation are the joint further development of the DaSense platform, the integration into the AVL solution portfolio with a focus on big data technologies as well as the realization of extensive global projects. The operational cooperation between the two companies is scheduled to start this year.

For NorCom, gaining partner companies is an important strategic goal - in particular to ensure joint further development and global sales. The DaSense technology developed by NorCom analyzes large amounts of data and manages complex, heterogeneous, semi-structured and highly proprietary data. NorCom intends to further spread the DaSense technology through cooperation with strategic partners by integrating the technology into software products from partners and selling it with them. NorCom has now been able to win AVL as the first company to do this.

AVL is the world's largest independent company for the development, simulation and testing of drive systems (hybrid, combustion engines, gearboxes, electric motors, batteries and software) for cars, trucks and large engines. The company employs more than 9,500 people worldwide and achieved sales of EUR 1.55 billion in 2017.
